ASPIRENorth promotes Higher Education while supporting young people in secondary schools in North East Scotland.
Many of the events we deliver in school and on campus are designed around the valuable input of university student volunteers. These events include school-based workshops, campus visits and conferences held at universities in and around Aberdeenshire and Moray.
As an ASPIRENorth volunteer you will play a vital role, working with small groups of pupils in structured workshops led by ASPIRENorth staff.

Our volunteer team is made up of a variety of students from all across the student body from college, bachelors students and masters students. We pride ourselves in our volunteer development and if you join our programme you will be eligible to attend our year round training programme in workshops like public speaking skills, classroom management and much more.
Our events run from October to July and you can opt in to events to suit your academic commitments. There is no pressure to carry out a set number of events each semester – you can decide how much you get involved. All of our events take place in a staff-supervised environment.
